 HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Halloween will look different this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Let's make it safe but keep it fun too by watching this video of our language assistant Katie.

Thanksgiving Day is an annual national holiday in the United States and Canada celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. In the US Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.
It is a great time to be thankful and appreciate who you have and what you have. In our school, we have many things to be thankful for and we have shown this gratitude in
our thankful tree.

This school year, we are so thankful for having Mario, our language assistant, and Leslie, his girlfriend. Thank you guys for your work at both schools!!  You make it much easier and more fun to speak English in the lessons.

BUT GUYS....WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR?

AND CAN YOU TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT THIS CELEBRATION?

TWO FAMOUS AMERICAN EXPLORERS

LEWIS AND CLARK

The expedition, called the Corps of Discovery, was President Thomas Jefferson's visionary project to explore the American West. Thanks to our language assistant, we learned more about that piece of American history.

....And here you are what Daniel Salamanca wrote on his diary, pretending to be Lewis Meriwether, on his way towards that unknown  American  land.

BURLINGTON UK CULTURE CLASS

How much do you know about England? How is queen Elisabeth II related to prince William? What dish is the most popular in the UK?
Our students have enjoyed a culture class at our school where they have learnt, in a fun and interactive way, different aspects of the British culture.
Thanks to Veronica and Burlington for  such a fantastic class!!!
